Active in Mission 2023

On Sunday, April 2, and April 9, we will be taking a special offering for Active in Missions 2023 sponsored by the Canadian Baptist family:
- Canadian Baptist of Atlantic Canada
- UEBFC - l’Union des Églises Baptistes Francophone du Canada
- Canadian Baptists of Ontario and Quebec
- Canadian Baptist of Western Canada
- CBM - Canadian Baptist Ministries
The goal for this group is $100,000 to help ensure people have access to food in 13 different countries, including right here at home. There will be special offering envelopes available at the Information Table in the foyer.
Statistics show that a staggering 10% of the global population is going hungry. The pandemic, economic hardship, climate change, ongoing conflicts, and natural disasters are just some of the factors contributing to widescale food insecurity. Closer to home, 1 in 7 Canadians are food insecure. Food banks and other food-related programs served over 5 million Canadians per month last year.
Your support will feed people in Thailand, India, the Philippines, DR Congo, South Sudan, Togo, El Salvador, Rwanda, Kenya, Lebanon, Pakistan, Ukraine, AND Canada.
Please make cheques payable to West Vancouver Baptist Church. All gifts in specially designated envelopes will be sent to Active in Missions 2023.
