NOTICE OF MEETING 

Annual General Meeting - March 23, 2025 - After the morning service.  Also, available via Zoom for those unable to attend in person.  The Zoom link will be available at 11:45am on HOME page.

The Annual General Meeting of West Vancouver Baptist Church will be held after the morning service on Sunday, March 23, 2025, in the Sanctuary to consider and vote on the contents of the 2024 Annual Report, to elect Councillors and a Nominating Committee member, and to make a By-law amendment. The Annual report will be available a few weeks before the meeting.

For Council: Esther Chu (3-year term), Belinda Kang (Church Clerk-3-year term), Amber Zhao (3-year term), Les Nasserden (one-year term to complete Debra Ames' term),

For Moderator: Mary Roberts (second term)

For Nominating Committee: Tom Walker

MANDATE: The nominating Committee is elected by the church to discern eligible candidates for elected positions. It comprises five members, including one representative from the Council as a voting member and the Lead Pastor (ex officio). The Committee prayerfully considers the gifts and abilities of candidates and proposes for nomination at least one candidate for each available elected position.  The names of the nominees are announced, with their brief biographies, four weeks before the Annual General Meeting.
Members of the Nominating Committee shall be elected by the church to serve one three-year term and may service additional terms provided that there is a break of at least one year.
The Nominating Committee members for 2024-2025 are Alison Campbell, Chair; Virginia Jack Bell; Asty Ma; Nancy Lee, Council Representative; and Ken Radiant, ex-officio.
Members may add other nominees to the list of candidates, along with a bio. Nominations must be received by the church clerk in writing up to ten days before the Annual General Meeting at which elections are held, provided that such nominees are proposed by at least two unrelated Members and such nominees have consented to serve if elected. 

Below please find information on how to vote on Zoom.  There are four choices, but only one can be checked.  

Member - Yes or Member No

Non-member - Yes or Non-Member No.
