Celebration of Life for Cathy Forsyth (Nee Bolton)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Cathy Lynne Forsyth passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Evergreen House in North Vancouver. Cathy was 58.
Cathy is survived by her loving husband Lindsay, daughter Chelsea, mother Josie Bolton, brother Steve Bolton, his wife Lori and their children Zachary and Brianne, as well as Ernie Forsyth (father-in-law) and Sharon Forsyth (sister in-law). Cathy was predeceased by her father Ted Bolton in 2022.
Cathy was born in Calgary, Alberta, on June 4, 1966, and graduated from Handsworth Secondary and the University of Victoria. After graduation, she worked in the family business at Speedbolt Printing and then went back to school to achieve her Early Childhood Education certificate from Langara College.
Cathy bravely faced her battle with Multiple Sclerosis most of her life, yet she always had a big smile on her face and loved everyone. In fact, that would be her life statement, Cathy Loved Large.
The family wishes to thank all of Cathy's caregivers and nurses over the years including CISL, Vancouver Coastal Health, Inglewood Care Centre, and the Maid Team from Vancouver Coastal Health.
