West Vancouver Baptist Church has welcomed claimant refugee families from Afghanistan and Colombia. Thank you, your love has transformed the lives of two beautiful families.
This was achieved with the strong support of our valued Christian partner, Journey Home Community (JHC), who has settled hundreds of refugees from all over the world. JHC is currently working with our local Afghan community in hope of settling some of their families members who are now refugees.
Please pray for refugees worldwide. We can feel helpless, but there is something we can do!
Journey Home has an exciting program you don't want to miss! Their guest speaker is Brad Kinnie, Executive Director (JHC), who will lead us in an interactive experience "A Walk in Refugee's Shoes".
Our church fundraising goal is $4,000. Please invite your family and friends to join us on Zoom on October 20 at 7pm to 8:30pm.
