All Things Work Together

We will be drawing out some lessons on God's sovereign ability to use our circumstances for good.

This message is about things that "go wrong," and how God still accomplishes His purpose in spite of it all.

Things that went wrong

1. Paul plans to go to Rome, instead goes to jail
2. Paul wants to win trust in Jerusalem, instead is falsely accused
3. Paul wants to speak truth to the mob, instead becomes a target
4. Paul hopes for justice from the Governor, instead sits in prison
5. Paul hopes for safe journey to Rome, gets a typhoon and shipwreck

Things God turned into good

1. Roman soldiers save Paul from the mob
2. A death plot foiled by an alert nephew
3. Delays in prison mean witness and writing
4. Shipwreck means ministry on Malta
5. Paul gets to Rome after all

So What?

We know that God causes all things to work together
for good for those who love HIm,
to those who are called according to His purpose.
