We have a misunderstanding as to the use of different coloured envelopes and what they mean. Here is a short course to help us.
The white envelopes have a number on the upper right-hand side. This number is the donor's designated number, no need to write your name or address on the envelope. There are 3 lines to choose from. The first line is for current or general church expenses, the second is for missions and the third is for special items. For example, we asked for funds for our 100th Anniversary or other areas in need. Please use your white envelopes for confidential reasons. People only see a number and not your name.
The blue envelopes are in the pews for people who do not have a number or have forgotten to bring their white envelopes. If you remember your number please put it on the line with #. Your full name would also be helpful. You can also use this to ask for white envelopes, we need your full name, address, phone number, and email. The email is so we can send you the charitable tax receipt which are available in the middle of February.
The yellow envelope is our Love Offering for those in need. We have a benevolence committee that administers these funds.
We can't give a charitable tax receipt without your full name, address, phone number, and email. If you can't print out your receipt let us know and we will print one for you.
