Mary Roberts

I have been attending West Vancouver Baptist Church for over 30 years. During that time, I've been involved in various ways. I served as Moderator from 2011 to 2014 and then served on the council from 2015 to 2020, the last three years as Chair. It was a blessing and a
pleasure to serve in that role. I have recently served on the Nominating Committee.

I came to Canada in 1985 to be married to my husband, Hugh, who died in 2013. I have one child, Colin, whose Sunday School class I taught years ago. He's now 35 and, fortunately for me, lives in
Vancouver. I'm now retired; my career was spent in business, mainly in marketing and communications.

I belong to a small group led by Peter and Roz Frühling. I've been part of that group since I came to Vancouver. Small group membership has been a formative spiritual experience for me, and I recommend it to everyone.

I am grateful for this church and all those associated with it.
